Claudio Bravo is an economist specialized in Economic Growth and Innovation, but he also does some research in International Economics and Political Economy. Before joining the University of Chile he worked at the World Bank (Washington DC) and previously for the Center for Applied Economics, at the Industrial Engineering Department and in Cieplan (Corporación de Estudios para Latinoamérica). He has also worked as a consultant for the World Bank, Inter American Development Bank, Korean Development Institute, Cieplan and the Chilean Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During the academic year 2008-2009 he was Visiting Scholar at Department of Economics at UCL, and Visiting Fellow at SPRU in the University of Sussex.
