Javiera Selman studied Business Engineering and BA in Economics at the University of Chile. From 2008 to 2011 she worked for the Observatorio Social at the Alberto Hurtado University conducting survey studies and research for the goverment and non profit institutions. Between 2009 and 2011 she also studied a Master of Arts in Economics at ILADES/Georgetown University in Santiago. At the Centre for New Development Thinking, Javiera Selman works as a researcher in the FP7 Programme of the European Union “Enhancing Knowledge for Renewed Policies against Poverty”.
